Introducing Swim Safe Social Cohort
Brown Girl Swim New Orleans is proud to launch our first annual Swim Safe Social Cohort — a community-centered water safety experience designed to empower families, caregivers, and swimmers of all ages through education, conversation, and confidence around water.
This impactful event will feature expert panel discussions, water safety education, community resources, and the opportunity to begin the American Red Cross Water Safety for Caregivers training. Participants who successfully complete the training will receive an official certificate and 15% off swim lessons for any summer month.
At Brown Girl Swim, we believe water safety should be accessible, culturally inclusive, and rooted in community. Swim Safe Social Cohort is more than an event — it’s a movement toward building safer, more confident swimmers and families.
