Brown Girls Swim, founded in 2021 is committed to eliminate the minority gap in swimming and ensuring equitable access to high quality swim education. Recognizing historical disparities and acknowledging the importance of water safety, we aim to empower and enrich the New Orleans community through comprehensive swim instruction and remove barriers that contribute to minority gap in swimming. Our culturally sensitive approach has proven to create an inclusive environment while instilling confidence and essential water skills.
